Welcome to the KWC! I'm the boss, Vengeance, and the guy you'll want to come to with any problems you have with this place. While we're all friendly and laid back here, this is still my fed, and there are definitely some rules you'll need to follow to make your stay a pleasant one.
Any of these could result in a suspension, loss of a match, or banning from the KWC so pay close attention.
1. Only original characters are allowed. This means that you cannot play a real wrestler, such as the Rock, or a fictional character, such as Jack Bauer, or a real person, like Chuck Norris. MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER AS THE NAME OF THE CHARACTER YOU ARE GOING TO PLAY.
2. Deadline for any card is nine PM, eastern time, the night before unless otherwise stated. Strats for the show are also due at that time.
3. Derogitory statements will not be tolerated. This includes racist, sexist, and homophobic slurs. Now, you may be saying to yourself "Wait a minute. My character's a heel! Insulting blacks/women/gays is part of his character, it gets him over with the crowd!" This is acceptable - as long as its a problem your CHARACTER has, not a real life beef that you're trying to get across. Besides, if the best insult you can come up with for someone is to call them gay, you're not gonna win much.
4. The matches, feuds and title runs should be decided by you guys. I'll help a little, but you need to start your own nuts. New to the fed? Don't know how to break in? It's easy. Send me a strat where you attack someone - either a title holder or someone you think you'd like to feud with. While you're waiting for results, think about why your character might do what he did, and then cut a promo about it after the results go up.
Nothing starts a feud better than just having your wrestler walk to the ring and call out the other guy.
5. Constructive comments and a desire for feedback is appreciated. Bitching is not. If you lose, and you don't think you should have, send me a PM asking why. If you send me a PM saying "OMG I should have lost did you read the posts?" then I a) won't respond with valuable feedback that might help you win in the future and b) will probably not be inclined to give you victories in the future. I'm not anticipating that this will be a problem, but it's good to have it in here. Remember, matches are always decided by RPs, not politics. Just kick your game up a notch and you'll beat him next time.
6. No attacking any of a wrestler's cast of characters, including and especially the wrestler, in a roleplay without permission. During a show, its free reign, but during a roleplay you gotta ask. If you're planning on kidnapping a guy's wife, you're probably better off just doing it on a show, for example.
7. No cop-outs. If someone DOES kidnap your wife, you can't say "You dumb bitch, you stole the wrong girl!" React and flow with the storyline, it'll make it more interesting.
8. Grammar and spelling don't matter, but they are a bonus. The easier it is to read your RP, the more likely I am to enjoy it, and the more likely you are to win. I'm never going to discount you for 'em, but if you want to take the two seconds necessary to run your roleplay through Microsoft Word, I'll love you all the more for it.
9. Always post a sample RP before a profile. The Sample can just be an old RP from another fed, but I want to see what you can do before I accept you into the KWC. If I don't get that chance, I won't know how to book you.
10. If you have avatars from another federation, don't use them until we know we have permission from the people that made them there.
11. I mentioned strats a couple of times - strats are something that should be sent to me by PM before a card. They detail things your wrestler would do during that card, such as how you want them to fight during a match, a promo you want them to do, or who you want to attack between matches.
That's pretty much it. Keep in mind when you roleplay that character development is great, and trash talking is great, but neither on its own will help you win. Some combination of the two is always appreciated.
